This pack contains A4 and A5 flashcards with two font options; Sassoon Infant and CCW writing (pre cursive font) which when photocopied/printed following your photocopier/printer instructions will produce word lists on the reverse and a picture clue. Word lists taken from Letters and Sounds.

Take advantage of the latest craze and practice some phonics. This pack has a sheet for the Phase 2 sounds and sheets for words made by each set of sounds as organised in the Letters and Sounds documents. Place the fidget spinner on the picture and let it spin. Adult or partner counts how many words or sounds they have read correctly until the spinner stops. There is space to record the score at the bottom of the page. Ideal to send home.

These are designed to be used as cut and stick activity. Ideal to send home or use in the classroom. Phase 2 Fruity Phonics - Interactive Display Version This pack has a tree for each of the Phase 2 sounds and a set of five oranges with pictures that contains the Phase 2 sounds. These are designed to be used interactive display or a table top where children can attach oranges to the correct tree. Ideally enlarge to A3 and laminate for durability. Use Velcro to attach the oranges to the trees.

There are two files include: Phase 2 Phonic Flowers - Display Version This pack has a flower for each of the Phase 2 sounds. Each flower is in parts and will need cutting out. For long term use print onto card and laminate. These can be used as part of an interactive display or a table top where children can attach the petals to the correct sound. Phase 2 Phonic Flowers -Cut and Stick Version This pack has a flower for each of the Phase 2 sounds and has been designed as a cut and stick activity. Each flower is black and white or uses grey scale to enable cost effective photocopying. There is a dotted line around each part to make it easier for younger pupils or those with fine motor issues easier to cut. Older or more adapt pupils may want to cut around the thick black lines.

This come with the PowerPoint which is an adult led activity. Macros need to be enabled for it to work, you may get a message to enable if they aren’t. Also do not save it once played, as the letters will be saved onto the crossword. Also included are a cut and stick version in PDF, written version in PDF and an answer booklet. Perfect for use in class or to send home.

Covers all the phase 2 sounds. See the video to see it in action! Click on the initial sound you would like to learn. Can you help the sound catcher identify the fish that has something that begins with that sound and click on them? Right answers will take you to a well done screen with a cheering sound effect, wrong answer will take you to the oh no that is not right with a different sound effect. Look out for the rainbow fish challenge - can they find the fish that has the given sound somewhere in their word?

There is a cake for each Phase 2 sound. The sound is on the cherry and the cake case has pictures and/or words that contain that sound. The cake is my own design and each one is different. Each set has different shaped sprinkles in the icing.

This set can be used to play the following card games depending on age and/or ability of the players. There is a set for each Phase 2 sound. Go Spider! (played the same as Go Fish!), Pairs (memory game) and Snap. Instructions for how to play are included in the file. Cards could also be used for sorting and matching activities.

There is a spider and web for each Phase 2 sound. The sound is on the spider and web has pictures and/or words that contain that sound. Ideal for display or working wall.

A set of 5 boards one for each short vowel sound. Set 1-5 sounds from Phase 2 and Sets 6&7 from Phase 3 have been used to make the words. Words are CVC or VCC Perfect for practicing blending in preparation for Phonics Screening.

Colour the words to make the sentence for the picture. Then have a go at writing it underneath. These match the picture and sentence matching. Great to use in class or to send home.

This pack covers set 1-5 GCPs from Phase 2, as well as set 1-7 and consonant digraphs from Phase 3. Each domino has a picture and a word. Can be played individually or in small groups.

The idea is that the coloured puzzle piece are sorted by the pictures which are either for the initial sound or has that sound in the word ( ck, ll, ff, ss). They then make the sound when put together either using the black and white base or without to make it challenging. The same pictures have been used on both letters for ff,ll,ss and there are a couple of word puzzle on the jigsaw piece i.e me__, stu__.

This pack contains sentence and matching pictures using set 1-5 sounds from Phase 2. These can be used as a matching activity, writing sentences for the pictures or drawing a picture to match the sentence. Some are a bit silly but i’m sure the children will enjoy them.

Once they’ve been cut out (sorry I know its a fiddly one), children pick a sound and find the 4 puzzle pieces that begin or end with that sound. Consonant letters apart from k (only 2 pictures that started with this sound) can be used as a writing activity as all the pictures can be spelt phonetically.A recording sheet has been included. Vowel letters are initial sounds.

This pack includes all the sounds, words and tricky words for Phase 2 as in the Letters and Sounds document. How to play Play as a group or in pairs. Players close or cover their eyes. Adult or chosen child hides one of the bee cards underneath a hive. Players take turns to guess which hive by saying the sound or word that’s on the hive. Winner hides the bee next

Six files are included: set 1-2 words set 1-3 words set 1-4 words set 1-5 words sounds tricky words Either label cars with the words or sounds for a matching activity or sound out the word or say the sound and players park their car in the correct bay. Alternative use the word boards and players park their car in the bay that rhymes with the word you say.

A fun bingo game suitable for a whole class of 30 pupils. Included are set of 30 different boards A5 in size (2 per a A4 page) and a PowerPoint which will random generate a word. All you will have to do is play it as a slide show and press s to stop, and **enter **to carry on. Ideal for practicing reading words.

Looking for a fun way to practice reading or writing words during Phonics? Then this is for you. Kym's Game is a memory game where pupils have to remember which picture is missing. It can be used as a writing activity or which the word boards as a reading activity. Pupils identify which picture they think is missing by either writing or cover the word on the word boards.
